Belvoirdale Primary School is a Leicestershire maintained Community Primary School in the heart of Coalville and is a vibrant and welcoming place to learn and work. Everyone who attends Belvoirdale feels safe.

At Belvoirdale, we are all role models, who promote the values that make us all lifelong learners and responsible citizens and who are proud to take their place in the world. We do this through our Belvoirdale Characteristics.

Our school thrives on the ethos of Dream it, Learn it, Live it, by providing a curriculum that nurtures a culture of curiosity and by motivating a thirst for knowledge. We celebrate the traditions and achievements of our own community and the values that make us proud to be British, while making links to the wider world.

Classes

The PAN (Pupil Admission Number) is 50 per year group. There are two EYFS classes, two year one classes, two year two class. Years three, Four, Five and Six are mixed age classes. There is also a SEND class for KS2 pupils who have additional needs. These pupils attend our school and although they are taught in the Cedar classroom, they continue to interact with their own year groups at break and lunch times, assemblies and when attending events and school visits.

Belvoirdale has Fifteen teachers, Fifteen LSAs, three apprentices and one full time ELSA. 

Belvoirdale works in partnership with other maintained schools, to ensure consistency, to share pedagogical practice and to support and develop excellence. This group is called the Collaborative 360.
