Hello I am Emma Dibble and I was appointed a parent Governor at Belvoirdale in April 2017. I wanted to be a Parent Governor to be a voice of the parents when it comes to school matters.
My eldest daughter is a pupil at the school and I see first-hand, the outstanding teaching and learning through her. My youngest daughter will be attending in autumn 2018, my husband and I are extremely excited for her journey within the school to start.
I am a working mum, I support Retail Apprenticeships in the Midlands and this allows me the flexibility to be a Governor and an involved parent, supporting the events at Belvoirdale. One of my biggest beliefs is that parents need to be involved within their child’s school, whether that be attending a parent evening, a head teacher assembly or attending a knowledge harvest; each and every event needs our support.
